Sweden’s southernmost region of Skåne has gained a strong foothold in gastronomic circles and is has been coined ‘the pantry of Sweden’. The area of Kullen takes its fair share with a large number of organic farms and farm shop, vineyards, apple orchards, restaurants and shops were you can get a taste of nature’s treasures and try out local specialties.

SHOPPING
The nearest supermarket is in Jonstorp; ICA Jonstorp, approximately 5 km.
For larger grocery shopping - we recommend Höganäs; City Gross, Lidl, Systembolag, (specialty store for wine and beer which cannot be bought in supermarkets!) clothing, bars, restaurants etc. For major shopping and clothing stores, Väla Centrum in northern Helsingborg is the place to go – this is a large mall with everything, only 20 minutes by car from the house.
The city of Ängelholm about 15 km east is also good for shopping, with a nice pedestrian street, cafes and a city square with summer activities, flea-markets, concerts etc.
We also recommend a visit to Spritan, just outside the city of Helsingborg. This is an old factory where liquor was once produced, now a quint area for shopping, exhibitions, food, brewery and more.
BEACHES
200 meters from the house is a tiny quay; Bökebäck, where it is possible to swim and fish.
